My pain stopped. I heard the bell ringing and hospital personnel saying, "code blue, code blue." I thought oh someone died and they need to take care of the people and are going to leave me alone to do that.  Then when I came out of the cat scan tunnel I saw all of these people running over to me but I was above them looking down. I then realized I was dead. 

I remember thinking if I am dead then where is the white light and the tunnel I heard so much about ? Just as I had the thought I saw the light and the tunnel. It was golden. I walked into it and it seemed to be getting narrower and narrower. I felt like I was shrinking. As I got to the the apex of the tunnel there was an angel in white and she waved me back. 

At that moment, hospital personnel were giving me a shot of adrenaline into my heart. I felt myself pop back into my body and the pain of my broken bones.  I opened my eyes.  The nurses said, "you scared us, we thought we lost you for good."
