Our annual North American conferences provide current and topical information about NDEs in an informal setting. Near-Death Experiencers, Educators, Care Givers and the general public all find programs and activities of interest in these events.
A Journey to Heaven and Back is the theme of a symposium on near-death experiences by the Open Center in New York City, Saturday, November 23. The program will include NDErs Dr. Eben Alexander, Anita Moorjani and Lorna Byrne, and will be moderated by NDE researcher Robert Mays.
The panelists in this symposium have all had NDEs and have demonstrated great courage in sharing their stories in the face of great skepticism, but feel compelled to bring hope and comfort to others by sharing their profound conviction that there is nothing to fear when we transition to the next life. Come hear their remarkable accounts and explore the implications of these extraordinary experiences.

Dr. Eben Alexander will give a public lecture My Journey to Heaven on Thursday evening, August 29, 7 PM at the Sheraton Crystal City Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. Dr. Alexander was driven to the brink of death and spent a week deep in coma from acute bacterial meningitis. He experienced a vivid journey into the afterlife during which he was guided by an angelic being and shown the Divine Source. He then returned to his physical body and experienced a miraculous healing.
Dr. Alexander confirms that our life on planet Earth is a "test" of personal growth, and that the way to make progress in this test is to overcome evil while spreading love and compassion.
